Currently our little petting zoo consists of two rabbits and (according to Nadine; finally) a couple of chickens.

The never-ending struggle with the rabbits rages on, as they keep finding new spots to dig up and new holes they can squeeze themselves through. They won't come looking for your company, but it's a delight the watch 'em play.

The chickens are a lot easier to handle. Having absolutely no fear of humans (or crows, or cats, or power tools...) they'll go wherever the food takes them.

“Scientists have calculated that the chance of anything so patently absurd actually existing are millions to one. But magicians have calculated that million-to-one chances crop up nine times out of ten”.
- Terry Pratchett, Mort
